It has a patented design with 1/3rd the weight, 1/3rd the power and 1/3rd the cost as compared to Rockwell or Spectrum that limit their marquees to 35°C ambient, which automatically shut down when the temperature inside the marquee cabinet rises above 60°C. Temperature inside the cabinet can easily rise 20°C because normal LEDs generate a lot of heat except our LEDs. Our marquees have patented LEDs for low current and thus low heat generation and as such are rated at 60°C ambient.

EZMarquee has a patented 12000 NIT Tri-color model that has become extremely popular in outdoor applications such as weigh stations, quarries, oil rigs, immigration check posts, border controls, steel mills, and others like applications in forest industry.
EZAutomation uses pre selected uniform luminous intensity LED blocks. All LEDs degrade in brightness over life. Having matched luminous intensity for all LEDs in the Marquee makes the marquee look the same even after 10 years of operation.
If you pay close attention to other marquees, you'll find that some of the letters in the Marquee have dimmed out making the character almost invisible. Using pre selected uniform luminous intensity LEDs eliminates this short coming in other Marquees from our competition.
5. Mechanically Strong Forklift Proof
A fork lift can run into it and it will continue to do its job. If at all some portion of the Marquee is damaged, it can be repaired.On the other hand, a digital white board if damaged, in any way requires full replacement.

7. Mixed character heights on same line for better utilization and readability
EZMarquee's have a unique feautre that allows differnet size characters in the same line which allows a smaller marquee for the application. For example, the part number of the product being manufactured on the line may be 2" but the production count needs to be 4" reducing the size of the overall marquee.

iMarquee has 3 types of messages, as shown in the figure below.
iMarquee allows you to program a (single) Priority Message along with a condition (such as Bit is set, a register is beyond a value or outside a range, etc). iMarquee would continuously monitor the programmed variable, and display this message when the condition is met. No other message is displayed when priority message is displayed, so this is used for only critical messages.
The second types of messages are Machine/Process Status & alarm messages. Like the priority message, user needs to program message display conditions. You can program any number of such messages. If multiple messages need to be displayed, iMarquee would cycle through these messages.
The normal messages are programmed along with a message number, and which of the programmed message needs be displayed is controlled by the PLC. Only for this type of message, you will have to provide logic in the PLC. The Priority and Status/Alarm messages DO NOT NEED to do anything with the PLC program, only its tag contents.
