We had an EZ HMI on our powder coat paint booth controller working great for 15 years. Last Monday HMI quit recognizing any touch screen inputs. We were down. Our system integrator quoted $16,000 to upgrade the entire outdated, obsolete electrical system including the PLC and HMI. It would have put us down for three to four weeks. I called EZAutomation and ordered a replacement HMI which they shipped out the same day. The install of the HMI and pulling the program from the old panel and downloading new software was as smooth as silk. We only lost one full day of production and were back up and running the next day. Also the repair cost of $1275 vs. $16000 is significant. Cheers to EZAutomation.
