What is B.A.B.A. Compliance?

B.A.B.A. stands for the "Build America, Buy America Act". It was enacted as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) in 2021.

The primary goal of the B.A.B.A. Act is to strengthen the American economy and manufacturing base by ensuring that taxpayer money invested in U.S. infrastructure projects is used to purchase "American-made" materials and products.

In short, B.A.B.A. compliance means that the materials and products used in federally-funded infrastructure are produced domestically.
