Size 25 Resolver Programmable Networkable EZEncoder Features
Programmable Resolution
Its hard to believe that BEI and others offer 6912 different SKUs in their Size 25 encoders. There are 216 different PPRs (Pulses per Revolution) like 40, 240 and 812 PPr etc. then ethere are four different output codes A, AB, ABZ or AZ. There are P type output or N type output, there are 4 different face mount options. Its a nightmare for stocking spare parts. Thats why BEI had to start an Express Encoder service. EZ Size 25 Encoders eliminate all this chaos by having a programmable count. Good bye Express Encoders.
No Laptop, Software or Cable needed
There are same encoders like Imnicoders from BEI and one from EPC that have been recently introduced. But they miss the mark. They need a computer and software to change the PPR. On EZEncoder, just with the help of two buttons and a four digit display, you can change the encoder configuration, even when the encoder is mounted on the machine. No need to even disconnect the output M connector to program it.
3/8" Stainless Steel Shaft
Size 25 EZ Encoders sport an industry standard 3/8" shaft, but our shaft is Made of corrosion resistant stainless steel.
Double Bearing with Seal
Size 25 EZ Encoders have a double bearing with a seal built-in allowing it to get tested and UL approved for NEMA 4 rating.
80 lb Shaft Load
The Size 25 EZEncoder has an whipping radial shaft load rating of 80 lbs as comapred to 30 lb for BEI, 40 lb for AB and a pitty 22 lb for ADC encoder. 80 lb radial loading means that EZEncoder is tough, it can take a lot of pressure from a sprocket or belt mounted on the encoder.
Bearing Life
Size 25 EZ Encoder has bearing life of 1x109 revolution at full 80 lb load as compared to 2 x 108 (1300 hrs) for BEI, others don't even publish thier number.
ET7272 Line Drive Outputs
EZEncoder can be connected 100 ft away from the controller due to the superb line drive capability of ET7272 drive clips. ET7272 also rovides short-circuit proof and thermally protected outputs.
ABS or Metal Can Option
EZEncoders come in two housing options, ABS Engineered shatter proof plastic housing or a Metal Can housing made of Aluminum. The front face plate in both cases is the same.

EZEncoders, Exceptionally Innovative, Made in America, Factory Direct have generally 2 for 1 pricing. A 1000 ount size 25 MS EZEncoder in ABS housing sells for $249 and in Metal Can sells for $349. Where as a less athn equivalent Dynapar sells for $513 and a less than equivalent BEI selld for $616.

EZEncoders with MS connectors, Incremental, Programmable Incremental or Absolute Programmable Resolvers all are drop-in replacements for BEI, Dynapar, EPC & Rockwell Encoders. Encoders with Sub-D Connectors
Size 25 Incremental Encoders with the same specifications as Size 25MS connector models have a 9 pin Sub-D output connector. It sells for $189. It is rated as a NEMA 12 device.
