• There used to be a time when ADC advertised their PLC’s as 2 for 1 against Rockwell. Now EZ is 2 for 1 against ADC DL, Click & BRX series and soon to become 3 for 1 after 55% tariffs.

• Click PLCs, particularly, have flimsy plastic construction, limited current ratings (Max 300mA steady state and 450mA surge for 10ms). It's relay outputs driving inductive loads have a maximum 200,000 contact closures which translates to less 6 months of life in a number of applications. ADC recommends use of fast acting fuses in each DC output to prevent the module from blowing up under an overload condition. EZPLCs have none of these issues.

• Highest Flexibility with 35+ IO Combo modules. Incredible power in 2x2x1” IO modules
• EZPLC is 2 for 1 against properly configured Click or Click Plus and BRX, and would be 3 for 1 with 47% tariffs.
• ADC is misleading you about BRX being made in US, it is not. It is also made in China and subject to tariffs and supply chain uncertainty.
• DL, Do-more and Click will continue to have Supply Chain Issues, uncertain delivery and uncertain prices
• DL and Click and Do-More may also get obsoleted just like their Flagship EA9. EZAutomation is offering FREE program conversion for OEMs from DL/Click/BRX with placement of just a single PLC order.
• Most Cost Effective for analog intensive applications, will be 3 for 1.
• Drag N Drop Eziest PLC software
• Most Maintenance Friendly, LEDs right next to Terminals, Short circuit proof outputs, Plug-in Removable terminal blocks
• Unique Patent Pending High Current DC Output modules for DC solenoids and Fans with Surge Current, saving a lot of cost. These HC modules are specified to carry 1 Amp Steady State current to drive 24W solenoid and 4 Amp Surge current for 20 milliseconds. These DC inductive loads have 3-4 times in-rush current needing external solid-state relay, that costs $, Panel space and labor and yet no Short Circuit Protection. For short circuit protection, AutomationDirect recommends adding fast acting fuses for each output. No such need with HC Modules.
• Built-in Snubbers on Relay contacts to save extra cost unlike with ADC PLCs. ADC emphasizes the need for transient suppressions when driving inductive loads but can only recommend external transient suppressors to limit voltage spikes. EZPLCs have built-in transient suppressors.

• 16 Pt IOs coming soon same 2x2x1” size.
• Custom modules in as low as 500 pc annual quantities.
• EZAutomation sells Factory Direct. ADC is a Distributor in between Factory and You, which almost doubles the price.
